CD Copies of the School Winning Moments

I love shooting and recording special moments in my kids’ school life and when I have a good copy some of the mothers of my kids’ classmates would ask for a copy of pictures and videos. I usually take a picture not just my kids but some of their classmates too especially if they don’t have cameras with them or if their Moms are not there to accompany them. I actually became the school photographer in the school events for academic contests where my kids participate always.

Even if I’m a working Mom I never miss the chance to attend those special moments of my kids because they need moral support from me. In those contests where my kids’ school usually win or was able to grab a runner-up place I’m always successful in capturing every winning moments and let the school have a copy for their newspaper. If somebody asks for a copy I will just tell them to secure a copy from the school office because I’m always busy to do multiple copies.

If only I was able to know the likes of cd duplication service from disc2day then it would be easier to have several copies for all the parents and students involve in the events. Anyway before my kids graduated from school I was able to give some copies to my closest Mommy friends when my daughter volunteered to make few personal copies around 3-5 only.

Learning Technology and Scientific Things

My daughters asked me to provide them with all their laboratory uniforms and accessories like laboratory gowns, gloves, laboratory eyeglasses and a lot more because they will not be allowed to enter their laboratory room without such outfit and accessories. Because of these complete laboratory outfit and materials they feel like they’re on real laboratory where they experiment and learn new scientific things new to them. They told me that they were able to use microscope, thin microscopic film, lab balance, various test tube sizes, beaker, spatula, thermometer and a lot more. They were actually excited to use such equipment as they only see it on movies when they were kids. It’s like they’re playing the role of scientists and genius doctors.

Quality Discounted Cartridges

We have three schooling kids so I’ve made sure that we have 2 desktop computers for their usage when they need to work on their school papers. I’ve also invested on a printer, scanner and copier should there be a need for such equipment. My kids are always researching and printing documents for their assignments and projects and even though our community has plenty of printing shops where we can send their documents for printing we still need to have our own for emergency needs when all shops are closed already. I’m glad they they’ve learned how to do their own assignments and research papers on computers with minimal supervision from me. They just asked me to help me when sudden trouble happens in computer or printer.

We always have a need for Printer Ink for our HP printer and we sometimes sort to refilling system so we can cut down costs on buying new inks. I realized that it’s refilling on empty cartridges can only be done twice or thrice then you will have to buy a new one again. Now we’re looking for ways on how to save ink or find supplier that can give us low price for quality ink cartridges. There are online stores that sells variety of original, compatible and remanufactured ink cartridges for Canon, HP, Brother, Dell, Lexmark and Epson at economical price without sacrificing the quality of the products.

I actually found one for our HP printer like  HP 300 Ink cartridges and for other HP printer models. These products are HP guaranteed and of excellent quality. You can order online with full security and safety. It’s hard to use cartridges with low quality as you’re endangering the life span of your printer, it might smear printed documents or ruin the parts of the printer. I’ve experienced buying low quality ink and it gave me headache only as I was not satisfied with the printed results. Buying quality affordable ink cartridges is the perfect solution to my schooling kids’ requirements.

Heart Breaking Graduation Day

My friend was hospitalized last week as a result of heavy monthly period which made her hemoglobin decreased and I’ve visited her few hours after learning her confinement. I’ve carefully thought about what foods or fruits to bring as I don’t exactly know what’s appropriate for her. I wished I had fruit baskets but there were no variety of fruits available near the place. I’ve decided on bringing her apples as it’s good for everyone, a healthy and nutritious fruit also.

I was relieved when I saw her half sitting half lying on her bed and well enough to chat with me even though a dextrose and a bag of blood was being transferred to her. She needs 3 bags of blood of the same type I have but I’m not fit as I have low BP as of last check-up and I’ve had series of sleeping late at nights. I would be glad to donate blood for my dear friend but I’m not fit so they went to look for other donors. We were hoping that she could make it until Sunday to get well for her son’s graduation day but her doctor told her it might worsen her condition. Her son is the class Valedictorian and it pained her to think she would not be able to see and hear her son’s valedictorian speech. I actually cried when I hear her son’s speech on my daughter’s graduation and I know my friend cried too when she saw her son’s video. It was such a heart-breaking situation.

Farewell Party

This coming school year I’ll have another kid entering secondary level and I’m also excited for her as I know she’ll have new friends, new environment, new teachers and new school. She has so many friends in the school she graduated from and it saddens her to think that they will not see each other every day when they reached high school. As early as now they’ve scheduled future reunions and promised that they will all attend to that. I understand why they’re like that as most of them were together since kindergarten and they have grown together from small to big kids.

Anyway her teacher arranged for a farewell swimming get-together for the kids next week.  They've saved money from their fund raising project few months prior to graduation and  they will spend it on that activity.  Parents like me who wants to share something will bring foods of their choice.   Looking forward to help them make their farewell party memorable.

:PH - Mostly Black : Science Exhibit

This is from my daughter's science exhibit last month which feature the Philippine Science Traveling Exhibition.  It features science technologies and exhibited more on electricity and magnetism.  Actually my has taken shots of all the exhibits there and their class really enjoyed the equipment and machines they saw there.  It's so informative and very exciting for them to see it all.
Well for the theme I saw mostly black images here including the nail paint on the person touching this one. If you want to see more of 'mostly black' themed photos just click the badge! Enjoy your weekend!

:Thursday Challenge : School (Uniforms)

"SCHOOL" (Buildings, Children, Uniforms, Buses, Bicycles, Books, Pens and Pencils,..)

These are the students of Little Jewels Christian School where my little boy is studying as First Grader.  They  were watching the Nutrition Program here wearing their PE uniform.  Here each grade level performed anything from songs, dances, poems, drama or any performance that pertains to health and nutrition. I admire how the school administers the students with discipline and high quality of education while maintaining a christian way of inculcating wisdom and knowledge to all their students.

:Thursday Challenge : Music

"MUSIC" (Singing, Dancing, Playing, Instruments, iPods, Concerts,...)

This is part of the Nutrition Program in Little Jewels Christian School where each grade level performed anything from songs, dances, poems, drama or any performance that pertains to health and nutrition. Here are the girls and boys dancing to the tune of “Makulay ang Buhay sa Sinabawang Gulay” (Colorful Life with Soupy Vegetable). This dance promotes eating plenty of vegetables to ensure getting the right nutrients for the whole family. I like their costume here because they really look like vegetables lol!

Little Jewels' Nutrition Day

I’m so tired that I wasn’t able to do any work online today. I attended my little boy’s nutrition day program. He’s one of the boys in Filipino costumes in white camisa tsino and red pants with the letter of N in NUTRISYON (nutrition) saying what the letter stands for. There are many presentations and I can say they’re all in good concept. All PTA officers prepared foods for all students representing each grade level with one healthy recipe food. We presented soup, pancakes, ice cream, menudo, pasta and chicken. All booths were decorated with nutritious fruits and some even put balloons. It was very festive and at the end of it we parents and teachers ate what’s left and had our group picture taking.

Update:
To see the yummy foods we had on that day visit my post at Feel at Home.

Perfect Pasta Cooking

I’ve been busy the whole day and put my work on the side as I have to attend to my kid’s need for assistance on their cooking class. Someone asked me online about vigrx but I was sorry for not giving an answer as I have to cut the conversation early or I’ll be late for my daughter. It’s the first Thursday that I didn’t dedicate to working all day. As I said to my Mom Thursday is my day for doing everything on my sites including updating, blog hopping, doing tasks and everything about my work online.

Anyway this day is an exemption as Gen is the leader student in their cooking class and I don’t want their group to receive a low grade. Anyway all my efforts were not wasted as they’ve received great comments and my spaghetti recipe which I passed on to my daughter has received a perfect grade. DD Gen kissed upon arriving home because she’s very happy with the outcome of their group cooking.

PH#209 : Covered

This is my photos taken during one of Josh' school activities ' Linggo ng Wika' (Week of Filipino Language). The first shot showed a group of kids clad in polo with their head and eyes covered with hat and shades (they're imitating one of the country's popular singer in the 80's Freddie Aguilar). My little boy was the one in green polo :-)

The second pic showed a group of little boys with their bodies covered with coconut shells which they use for dancing.

Capturing Precious Moments of My Kids

I’m relaxing a bit now after Mom gave me the therapy for my back pain. She insisted to give me a follow-up massage since my sleep is not normal again due to my back. I would wake up just very early at dawn and sleep will evade me because of the pain. It was a nice and soothing massage just as good as ever. Now I’m viewing my kids’ school video of their graduation and I’m not satisfied with the length of the video. I’m thinking that I should save for a nice camcorder so I can capture more minutes of their special moments in school.

Has anyone told me that I’m a stage Mom? Of course my friends laughed at how I seriously document every single school activity they have. But as they laugh they will tell me that they would love to do it as well if given the opportunity. Oh well as for me children will only be kids once and if you don’t make the most of it you’ll never see it again. They will grow up soon and you’ll be surprised at how time flies. One day they will eventually graduate and work and they will never be kids anymore. So for now I’m savoring every moments of their childhood and maintaining my sites helped me document their journey in life.

Too Many Activities in a Day

I was up and about at dawn trying to do everything I can to make my work as fast as possible to meet my desired time schedule. We have to attend my second child’s recognition day and buy something for her blowout to her classmates. I’m a little dizzy from yesterday night’s overtime in blogging because I know I’ll be able to come back home after lunch time. What a busy day for me but I must check first the auto insurance quotes I saw yesterday online because it offers competitive price. My brother needs it for his spare construction car.

I picked up my notebook and listed everything I got to do this day especially the ones which I’ll be doing after the school recognition day. I’ve listed all I’m going to need for our camp meeting; our clothes for packing, my grocery list, my market list and what I’m going to cook for our first day in the camp. The rest of the meals were taken care of so I’ll be preparing breakfast and lunch only. Now I feel better upon seeing my list knowing that I will not forget a thing.

:BM/RT - Josh and Cus in Costumes

No it's not halloween but I'm posting this picture of Josh (spiderman) with Cus (baker) because I want to make him happy by showing him his picture with his friend on one of their school outdoor activities. He's just graduated this morning and felt somewhat sad that he'll not be able to see his friends again that they're going to different schools next school year for their primary level. Most of his classmates are going to enroll in CCS and some of his closest friends in other school. I'm going to enroll him in christian school and hopefully arrange it this week. Anyway if ever plans will go through Josh and Cus will be studying on nearby schools just 2 streets away.

Happy start of the week! Click on the badge for more blue monday and ruby tuesday pics!

Lil Boy's Graduation Practice

My little boy had his last practice yesterday – their grand practice actually where parents are required to attend to be informed of how the ceremony should be. It’s also the giving out of programs, toga and other materials for graduation. This time they’re not going to wear their usual toga but a white long-sleeved polo with necktie, black shoes and black pants. To accentuate the clothes it will be worn with a yellow sash bearing St. Audrey’s logo.

The practice was a short one because they didn’t include the 2 songs and award ceremonies. We still didn’t know the awardees until they gave out the programs which you can find the list of all graduates and the honor roll. I was happy to see my little boy’s name again on the list and that completes his consistency since he’s in nursery. He got the second place and I’m glad that his close friend got the first place. Josh always surprise us with his studies that even if he can be so playful and talkative at times he still pass the school with flying colors. Good work ‘lil boy! I know my Mom has a lot to do with his good grades because she devotes her time guiding our ‘lil boy in studying. So I think it’s also Good work GrandMom!

My Girls' Christmas Party

My two girls are big enough to take care of themselves and their teachers informed us the PTA officers that the children will host their own party. But due to some mishap in the food delivery of Shakeys' in school their teacher asked help from mothers who were there to help in games and exchange gifts as it was a real pressure on her part to have food delays with kids impatiently waiting for their lunch. Me and Josh went there after Josh' party bringing with us Josh' Jollibee food pack. He told me that he wanted to eat beside his Ate Gen.

Anyway the party went well despite the Shakeys' mishap and Gen was lucky to have won two bags on the last phase of the game. We (the parents) had our own food to eat and we brought our potluck to a nearby house in school and had our lunch there with pasta, lechon manok, desserts and drinks. It was a tiring but happy day and I'm glad that I'll be resting from waking too early in the next few days because they'll be on their christmas vacation, yahoo!

Josh' Party in School

Yesterday was Josh' last day in school before the holidays and he's so excited in going to school with their exchange gift. Actually he wanted to have his own gift but because its color is pink he didn't want it anymore. He was so happy that he won in one of the games in their school. For the past school activities his group always loses the game that's why this time he's beaming with happiness when he received the price. He has so many friends that they always sneaked from the party outside their room and played with his friends inside their room. I just called him when a new game begins. He saved some of his food for our visit to his sisters' school. He told me that he'll eat his Jollibee meal with Ate Gen. We hurried up but still we reached his sister's school after 10am just in time for the games.

:TC - Educational Toys

"TOYS"
(Cars, Dolls, Video Games, Puzzles, Balls, Board Games,...)

These are board games (Snakes and Ladders) and Imagination Set of building blocks where blocks were combined to create cart, house, etc. I've chosen these creative and educational toys for my kids' exchange gift on their school party tomorrow. I always want children to have educational toys because it helps improve their learning and creativity skills. And I know kids would love having them as gifts. Hope they'll like it.
