Looking for Variations

I’m searching for a variation idea of my semi-cleansing diet. I’m actually looking for some fruit juice concoction that I can drink while I’m working. I’m talking of real fruit juice because lately I was really for the natural way of losing some weight. While browsing I chanced upon many tips about slimming down like using apidexin and other pills. I’m glad that I don’t need to choose among them as my healthy meal plans are working for me quite perfectly. I still need some more months to see big results but I’m happy now that I feel lighter and healthier.

Mom, me and my kids

Mom with me, my 3 kids, sis, bro, SIL and their youngest
during his 7th birthday last May 6

What a wonderful theme for this week just in time for Mother's Day. Just picked some pictures of my Mom with me, my kids, my siblings, her daughter-in-law and the youngest kid of my brother who celebrated his 7th birthday recently at Jollibee. Mom is very happy in this picture as we're all together here. Big bro is very busy sometimes that Mom miss him and his family and she's always happy when we're all together be it in our house, in my brother's house or in occasion like this one. Read my greetings to my Mom here!

She Has Sensitive Skin

DD has developed a certain allergy on her feet whenever she eats something that doesn’t seem to blend with her body and affects her skin on her feet. She’s very sensitive on that part of her body and I’m very particular with the shoes or slippers that she wears because sometimes it also adds up to her allergy. Now she’s fine and I’m telling her to take care of it everyday before the school begins again.

I’m just thankful that it’s only a slight allergy and not eczema because it will be itchy and painful for her if she has it. I’m glad that I don’t have to check for the right eczema treatment because I know there are different kinds and it would be determined by skin doctor. A relative developed that kind of allergy and I’ve seen how my relative endured the pain. Of course I don’t want that to happen to my DD.

Summer brings fun and excitement not only to children taking a break from school but also to their parents making the most of having the children at home. It’s the time of the year when you can have all your schooling kids all to yourself free from school activities. It offers fun-filled activities anywhere outside your house in your own backyard or somewhere where nature is at its best.

Every time school ends my kids are all excited about activities we will be doing for summer including our summer camp meeting which we held every Christmas and Holy week season. We held it in far away plantation villa and my kids know what to prepare for the camping. They will help me pack our sleeping bags, tents, emergency kits, food supplies and clothing. They like sleeping in tents and it serve also as their play place during the day. Saturday 9: Hey Jealousy

1. When was the last time that you got jealous? I don't usually get jealous so I can't remember the time and when I get jealous it's not over a certain person but of the time spent on us.

2. At what point do you finally decide it's time to move forward with your life (like, major changes)? How do you know? What do you do? It's way back May 2008 when I decided to leave my 15-year old regular job to concentrate on my family and embrace the world of work-at-home Moms. I've been earning enough from online works for two years then so I'm confident enough to assume that I can earn more than staying in my office job. My boss didn't want me to leave but after more than one year he succumbed and gave me separation pay.

3. When is it time to just let it ('it' can be whatever you choose) go? How do you know? What do you do? When things aren't going your way and seems like things are falling apart to pieces then it's time to let go. When it comes to job- when I'm not happy and contented anymore and when you're not growing intellectually it's time to let go. It's time to find some other job that will make you feel important and needed.

4. How many times must someone push your buttons before you've just had enough? Why? I think I have enough patience to last me a couple times before I've just had enough. I've worked as a Human Resource and Administrative officer and you need a lot of patience and understanding when you handle that kind of jobs.

5. If I S/O were to cheat on you, could you ever see yourself giving them a second chance? Or a third? Maybe but I'll cross the bridge when I get there lol!

6. What was the last thing that someone did that you were very grateful for? I'm always grateful for even the smallest things done for me, well the last thing so far was when hubby did some marketing for me yesterday. So sweet of him.

7. How much time do you spend online in a given weekday? What about the weekends? My work is online so I think I'm online around 14 hours a day when I don't have errands to do. Wednesday and Sunday were exemptions. I'm offline during Wednesday late afternoon onwards and Sunday whole day and night because I devote those times and days to our midweek bible study and Sunday worship.

8. How many online journals/blogs do you read regularly? What are some of your favorites and why? I read around 10-20 blogs everyday but I visit more than 200 sites everyday. My favorites are my friends' blog because I want to be updated with what's happening to them. Some other favorites are inspirational, photography and Moms' blogs.

9. What was the last major purchase that you made? I'm not an impulse shopper and I don't buy expensive items, my last major purchase was cabinets and gadgets.
