They Know Better

I heard the old folks talking about their achievements in their lives and what they’ve done to ensure that their kids will be alright when they passed away. Many of them who have worked continuously on certain office for a long time has invested their money on different bankable investment but I heard one of them saying that he didn’t do such thing but he looked for life insurance quotes and invested on getting one of the plans for he wanted his children to have some money when he died. For him it was a good preparation on his part so his children will not feel so abandoned when he passed away and leave this world. I’m glad I listened to their conversation as I learned a lot from them. Most often the old folks know better.

Working Fast on Tasks

I'm so exhausted from too many activities last week and in line for me this week. We'll travel to Tagaytay tomorrow and I should be working fast now on my online tasks to finish due tasks today and tomorrow because I'll expect not to be working even after we arrived. If I will not be able to finish by night I'm planning not to sleep, finish all due tasks and just wait for our church brethren who will pick us up at 5am.

I'll probably sleep in the car because hubby will not be driving for us. I never sleeps when we have our own car because I'm attending to my hubby's needs and I don't want him to get sleepy too when we travel at dawn. So now I need to work and work because tomorrow I'll rest and relax.

Too Busy To Search

We’re now preparing our meals for tomorrow’s celebration of Mom’s birthday. I did the marketing this morning after picking up Ruth in her school. She helped me with my meats and ingredients for my viand recipe tomorrow. DH volunteered to buy all my needed groceries for salad and pasta after his work as it’s quite heavy for me. I’m so busy with our preparations just in time that my friend asked me to look for a good online life insurance for his family. I wish I have more time to help him but I promised to do it after I’ve cooked my first recipe so I will not be rushing tomorrow. Actually I really can’t do it now but he really needs my help on this as he can’t search online now. He's having some connection problems in their area.

Your Way to a Debt-Free Life

Finance management is a thing that we need to learn in order to balance our income and expenses. No matter how small our income we can make both ends meet if we know the proper way of budgeting. My Mom used to tell me to be thankful for the things that you have and if there are extra funds that’s the time you can buy your whims and wants. It’s not bad to want something as long as you have enough money to buy it. With the emergence of credit cards purchasing gadgets and appliances is no more a problem as you can charge it in your credit card and you can avail of installment terms without interest.

Some people overuse their cards and went on shopping spree buying all that they want. Worst thing about is when you don’t have money to pay for it when the billing comes. That’s the usual problem of credit card holders, they sometimes overlooked their purchases and after sometime they would be in great debt and would be need credit card debt settlement to regain their good credit name. It’s an option that you can turn to if you’re in that situation and it will be of great help because they will help settle your debt in a more affordable way within your income range. You’ll be glad to know that it’s the best way to free yourself from worries and a great way to a debt-free life.

Simple Cooking Lessons

I’m teaching my kids to cook but before they will learn how to cook I should teach them how to cut different ingredients, spices and vegetables needed in any recipe. At first I find their work slow as they find it hard to concentrate while smelling the ingredients they’re cutting. Now they’re faster than the first time we had our cooking lessons and I know in time they will get used to it because if not they will not be good in cooking. I haven’t seen any experienced cook who can’t stand the smell of onions or garlic better yet some spicy ingredients. I love cooking and when I became so fond of it I started to gain weight that I thought I would need some diet pills. I’m just glad that my MIL thought me how to do cleansing in my body which aids also in losing some excess pounds. Now I‘m hoping that I’ll be able do my healthy meal plan continuously for a healthier me.

Have Your Cards Printed Fast & Easy

In my former job we’re selling call packages, DID and wholesale termination calls to local and international clients. In dealing with clients our manager and staff in sales and marketing department always needs business cards on their meetings and client calls. Sometimes the demand for these cards is so big that I looked for online printing which I find faster, easier and more affordable especially if it’s wholesale. I’m not in favor of the traditional printing press because it’s harder to transact and sometimes it costs bigger. Well in this modern technology world almost everything you need is available online.

Four Advantages of Heated Floors

One of the newer technologies on the market to keep your home warm during the winter months is electric underfloor heating. This concept involves heating your floors to help keep them warm when the weather outside is cold. Electric underfloor heating has several advantages and here are a few of them

Savings on Your Energy Bill
You might not think that heated floors would save you money, but studies have shown that this technology can save a homeowner up to 35% on their heating costs in one season. One of the reasons for this is because the floor help heat your body so you do not have to turn the thermostat up as much as you normally would.

Extreme Comfort
With electric underfloor heating, the objects in your home get heated through radiant heat rather than just heating the air. This helps keep your body warm without creating dry air that makes the atmosphere stuffy and uncomfortable. Just imagine the comfort of waking up on a cold winter morning and walking across the floor with your bare feet and not getting shocked by the coldness.

Cleaner and Quieter
Heating the floor through radiant heat is much quieter than your furnace pushing hot air through your ducts and out through the vents. This also reduces the amount of allergens and germs that are pumped into your home's atmosphere so you will breathe better and more comfortably. This means more fresh air and less noise to put with when you are trying to relax.

Dry Floors
Do you hate walking into your bathroom only to get your socks wet from the puddle you left earlier when you got out of the shower? With heated floors, these puddles dry quickly. This helps prevent wet socks and it is safer because your kitchen and bathroom floors will not be as slippery when they are dry.

Your Intro to Basic Holdem Poker Jargon

Every sport has its own set of rules and regulations, but they also have something that can be more complicated than that: jargon. The terminology being used in any sport can leave new players a little bit baffled while they're trying to learn the ropes. Whether you're playing with your buddies, in casinos, or at sites like Caesars Online, you're going to need to know at least the basics. Here's your introduction to the more important poker jargon.

One of the most important things to know when you sit down at the table is what "blinds" are. These are the bets that you are required to pay to play at the table. Only two players are required to bet each round (the "big blind" and the "small blind"). The person to the left of the dealer is the small blind and the person to the left of the small blind is the big blind. The exact amounts of small and big blind (the required bets) will vary from game to game.

Once blinds are played, everyone gets two cards. These cards are called the hole cards, and they represent the hidden (and obviously most important) part of the game.

The first round of betting is called "pre-flop betting." This is when players place their initial bets, based solely on their hole cards. There's no additional information until after the first round of betting. In no limit holdem (NLH), betting has literally no limits, even in this round. In limit holdem, there are much stricter rules about what can be bet in this first round.

Once this first round of betting is done, cards begin showing up on "the board." The board is all the cards that are shared by all players to make the best five card hand. Between each round of cards being placed on the board, new rounds of betting will occur.

:Blue Monday - Fish Decor

I find this hanging fish decor cute when we dropped by to let the kids play at the arcade in Robinson's. Well I didn't passed the chance to take some shots and the guard at the mall upon seeing my two flashes of shots asked what's my photos for. I told him that it's only for my personal use and he told me that they don't allow anyone to take a shot of their mall decor.

Oh well I laughed inside because it's my 2nd time to be noticed by mall security-the first was in SM North Edsa. I noticed that there are some foreigners with cams who had their shots too. I was thinking if they didn't see the foreigners or they can't warned them lol!

Trusted Investment Since Early Generation

Are you fond of investing your money on different kinds of opportunities? Well it’s good but you have to bear in mind that investing is done on wise planning. You have to consider many things before putting your money on business and on buying things. There are many forms of investments available for choosing but you need to know exactly what you’re getting because it’s too risky for novice. You have to consider also your likes, dislikes, skills and education so you’ll have an idea if your chosen investment can really return your capital with your much needed profit.

I browsed upon a site which promotes investment on precious metals where you have to buy gold bullion and have it delivered to you or safely deposited in bank storage. I think it’s true that it has a high return of profit as I know gold and other precious metals appreciate value throughout the years. It has proven its increasing value since the past generations where old folks used to store and invest gold bars and jewelries for their future inheritance to their children.

What Family Role Do You Play?

You Are the Mother

You have an abundance of love for humanity. You care about all the people of the world.
You love helping others more than anything else. You love to be needed.

At your best, you unconditionally love people. You are very nurturing.
You are a wise and gentle teacher. You are happy to guide anyone who needs your advice or explanations.

At your worst, you are controlling and overbearing.
You smother people with affection and gifts. And with this attention you give, you are expecting something in return.

Just the right role for my present status in life - I was really expecting this test to give me an answer like this. I guess if someone entered motherhood she'll have the best training and experience in life so she's able to give the love, caring and nurturing to her family. Every mother wants to be needed by her loved ones, friends and some other people she cares about. It's what motherhood is for.

I have no choice though but to continue working with my tasks as I have plenty of work dues. I can’t help myself to wish for a day or two in Myrtle Beach hotel where I can rest my numb arms and tired body. I love sunshine but I love it when I’m in the beach because I don’t feel the heat so much as the gentle breeze of the air mixes with the sun perfectly.

I would love to have a vacation somewhere along the waterfront location of the Prince Resort condos in Myrtle Beach Resorts with golf packages. Numb Arms Due to Overtime

I woke up with pain as my two arms felt so numb aside from my one-week old back pain. My Mom used to massage my back whenever I’m in pain but I opt not to have her relaxing and relieving massage because she’s just recuperating from her colds and cough. I don’t want to add burden to what she’s feeling so I’m just putting some herbal oil to relieve my back temporary. I had an overnight blogging up to 3am this dawn and I surmised that the pain evolved from too much typing and lack of rest. It was the first time in 3 weeks that I worked at midnight up to dawn again. Anyway as we’re going to buy a lappy for me I'll try to be active and forget the pains to enjoy the day.

Three Ways to Save Money on Prescription Medicines

If you live on a fixed income, it can be difficult to find the money for all the things that you need to budget for each month. Prescription medications can be expensive but it's possible to save money on them fairly easily. If you're tired of spending too much money on medicine each month, consider trying one or more of these cost cutting tricks.

Switch to an Equivalent Generic

Ask your doctor if there is a generic medication available to treat your condition. Many prescription medicines have generic equivalents that cost less than half the price of the brand name. If the drug you're taking doesn't have a generic, your doctor may be able to switch you to a different medication that does. In fact, many states have laws requiring the pharmacy to substitute the generic if it's available. If you must take a brand name medicine, ask your doctor about coupons or discounts.

Split a Higher Dosage Pill

Ask your doctors if they'll consider prescribing your medication in a larger dosage. Many medications cost the same price per pill, regardless of the dosage. So, 50 milligram pills may cost the same as 25 milligram pills. If your medication can be split and your doctor is willing to write a prescription for the larger dosage, you can save half the price of your medication while making it last twice as long.

Consider Mail Order

In many cases, you can order a three month supply of your prescription medicine and pay one co-pay if you get your medicine by mail order. Even if you don't have insurance, it may still be cheaper to mail order your prescriptions than to get them filled at the local pharmacy. Consult your doctor or pharmacist to see if this option is available to you, and if it is, be sure to sign up for the program.

Above Ground Swimming Pool: Installation

You have many talents. You have even more competencies. You are a clever, sensible person who can accomplish all the clever, sensible things, except, alas, construction. Your hands fumble with mechanics. Your thoughts waver with uncertainty. You don’t understand how to create shapes from steel. You can’t even force plastic to bend to your needs. You simply lack the skill. There are ways, however, to overcome your one great failing, and choosing an above ground swimming pool becomes the easiest. You don’t have to be a master of creation. You only have to offer an afternoon.

You have often considered the advantages of an above ground pool. You’ve debated its values; you’ve researched its costs; and you understand that it’s the right decision for your budget and your family. You simply worry of the installation. You fear you’ll be overwhelmed, eventually tossing it into the garage, branding it a waste of money and effort.

That is not, however, the scenario you’ll be facing. Instead, an above ground swimming pool will arrive in an easy to comprehend kit. These items are meant to be convenient, built without worry or despair. You will have directions, clearly marked pieces and little frustration. Even with the varying styles and brands, there is still one purpose that they all share: speed. You are meant to assemble each type quickly. They’re to be enjoyed, not fretted over.

Installation shouldn’t force you to long hours and confusion. It shouldn’t require you to bring in outside help (which will only yield a high cost and tedium). With an above ground swimming pool, you can solve the puzzle yourself. Find relief from the summer; discover the ease of construction; and gain the satisfaction of a job well done.

I Nearly Faint

As my usual schedule for the day I went to Ruth’s school to fetch her but I waited for less than an hour before she got out of her room. I was informed just after I arrived that there’s a demo going on and we’ll have to wait a little longer before we can go home. It was so hot and I was glad there are trees to give us some air and shelter.

My prolonged stay outside the room gave me a bad ill feeling and when we reached the house I was near to nausea. I’m almost out of breath and I’m lucky to recognize the sign immediately that I asked for a glass of water and requested to rest in the covered patio for relaxation. I badly needed some cool and fresh air to relax in and I’m glad Mom was there for me always. It was halfway through afternoon when I find myself ready to work on my tasks but I did it slowly as if I’m just surfing and browsing. Thanks God I didn’t faint or anything worse than that.

Love Month of May

This is my favorite month of the year even though it’s very hot this season I find this month very promising. In this part of the globe month of May brings summer fun activities, it’s the blooming of flowers, the season of fruits and for my husband and me the season of our love. It’s the month that he first courted me after being friends for 2 years. It’s also the month that we find it worthy to be married and started wearing our wedding rings with a promise that whatever it takes we’ll keep our love centered to God. After 14 years of marriage we’re still in love with each other and we have our three children to bind our love more. God has been good to us.

When I accepted his proposal of marriage he was so excited that he planned everything immediately from invitations, sponsors, gowns, reception, food and all things needed in our wedding. His sister sponsored the cake and my brother paid for the invitations. My Auntie who knows a lot about jewelry went to Ongpin with us to look for women and men’s wedding rings. We had a nice time looking at the choices and we chose nice elegant gold wedding rings.

I would have love to have diamond engagement rings but it’s too expensive to own at that time. We settled for the simple ones and an engagement necklace gift from hubby. Well for those who can afford to have those elegant diamond rings Danforth Diamond have a lot to offer. They have wide variety of diamond engagement rings in platinum, palladium and gold. So for those couples who want to tie the knot this month or the coming months visit their site and have your pick.

Superiorpayday.com

In these times of economic and financial crisis we should be wise in handling our finances, be it small or big we should know how to manage it. Knowing our priorities in spending our money is of utmost importance because it will give us financial stability in the end. Of course basic commodities such as food, education, clothing and utilities should be our first priority. These things should have enough funds to sustain the family; some other needs can wait for extra money. My Mom always tell me that in order to manage your finances you should remember the phrase ‘Do not buy what you don’t need and don’t ever need what you can’t buy’ which sounds very logical to me.

Some people who can’t follow the rules of wise handling of finances resort to multiple loans which in time can give them headache because of high interest. Well even if you’re wise in handling money there are emergency cases that you’ll need extra money to pay for unexpected expenses and if you don’t have savings you’ll have to do with online payday loans which can help you with immediate loan funds in 24 hours. It’s easy to apply for this loan even if you have bad credit record. It’s fast and it will be deposited directly to your personal account.

Applying for this online cash advance is easy. Visit superiorpayday.com and choose the lender which will suit your needs. They would only require that you’re an adult, have a monthly salary of not less than $1,200 and you have a valid personal account. Well it’s easy to apply but the terms of payment is only for 15 days up to one month only. As it’s a payday loan they will be expecting payday payments too of not exceeding to one month. For me it’s a very convenient arrangement as this loan is really for emergency needs only. What’s important is the availability of the cash when you need it.

School Opening Preparations

We were finished enrolling the kids early this month and uniforms were fitted and paid already. Hubby decided to finish with shopping for the kids’ school things and bags last Sunday except for some additional requirements on school opening. We’ll just buy their books next week in time for my online salary because it’s kinda expensive enough to pay almost half-year regular tuition fees. I’m not so used with these as my kids were free from all these expenses for 6 years as they’ve studied in my Mom’s former elementary school. Well now my youngest will not have the privilege of enjoying free tuition and free books as I’ve enrolled him in a Christian private school.

After the books I’m totally finished with enrollment expenses. I will just bring them all to shop for the little minor necessities like socks, lunch box, undershirts and etc. Ruth is enrolled in Taytay United Methodist Christian School and Josh will study in Little Jewels Learning Center, a Christian school also. Gen will just finish her grade 6 this year to join her Ate next year in TUCMS. It will be convenient for me next school year because Josh’ school is only two streets away from Ruth’s school. The schools are far from our home as it’s on another town but the nearest elem and high school Christian schools in our home. I also find a quality education in both schools with just 3 sections in every year and 30+ students in one class. I’m looking forward to seeing my kids start another level of education life in Christian Schools.

Get Cash Out of Your Gold

I started collecting old gold and silver coins and it became my hobby when Mom gave all her old coins to me. Her old coins were dated in early seventies and I was happy to receive them all as I really want good old gold coins. Until now whenever our government change coins I was always ready to save some for my collections. I even have the paper money to collect because I find it really nice to look at the transition of money designs.

Many buy and sell businessmen are rounding up our place to ask us if we want to sell jewelry, those broken jewelries that we don’t use anymore. I figured that they will recycle it for new designs of jewelry just like what they’re doing at refinity.com. They buy gold coins or jewelry and refine it for other usage. They’re an ecofriendly company and because of these they help reduce the risk of environment hazard. So if you want to get cash out of your gold coins or jewelries you can visit refinity.com now.

Which is the Better Package Deal?

I’m still thinking about the lappy I want to buy. I’m already decided on the model HP Compaq Presario CQ40-606TU with Core 2 Duo T6600 320GB HH and 2GB Memory but it’s on different package deal depending on the store. One store slashed its price from PhP37,990 to PhP32,990 without free item then on my husband’s company they offer the same package at PhP33,990 with Epson printer worth PhP2,100.

Well I have a printer but it’s not working properly now so I’m thinking of getting the second deal which is a better buy for me. Anyway I hope I can drop by the nearest mall later and check some computer deals so I can decide finally on where I should buy my lappy. I still have 3 more days before weekend so I still have time to compare.

:BM/MYM/RT: Christening Cake

MellowYellowMondayBadge

I have here a very colorful cake for my entry! This is Iya's christening chocolate cake from Red Ribbon last May 1. The three-layered cake composed of yellow, pink and blue cake with different colors of ribbon - you can see yellow, pink, green, violet, orange and blue. The icing on the pink layer is also blue. What about red? Dedications and greetings are written in red writings! All in all this cake is almost a rainbow cake with pretty trimmings and design. It's not only enticing to the eyes as the cake is yummy too! It's a pity that Iya is not old enough to have a slice of this cake :-). Maybe she'll be able to eat some cakes on her first birthday, I'm sure she'll love it!

Toyota Accessories and More

I posted here two months ago that we’ve sold our car already. The big typhoon Ondoy which caused severe damage in our town and nearby provinces has submerged our car in the flood. Due to massive demand for mechanics at that time we were asked to wait for the mechanic’s schedule. Months passed by and we still have no mechanic to attend to our car. We can’t bring it to expensive car shop because we can’t afford it. After four to five months I always felt so down whenever I see our car unattended lying in our garage looking so abandoned. Almost everyday I find myself talking to strangers who are interested in the car but when I decided to sell it I chose the one who can bring our car into its former condition.

Now whenever I see similar cars I missed our old car and missed searching for nice accessories for it. We’re thinking of switching to other brand when we buy a replacement and Toyota is one of our choices. It’s easier to maintain it and affordable too. Our friends in the church who are into driving profession always tell us that it’s easy to look for Toyota accessories and parts. So it’s easier to maintain and repair it whenever necessary.

Well I’ve just visited carid.com and found some really nice accessories that would really enhance not just the look of your car but the condition as well. They have the widest variety of accessories for different brands of car especially Toyota. I now know where to find all things that I will look for my car if ever we’ll be able to buy a Toyota Lite Ace. Yes that’s what DH and I want to buy for our family’s use and hope we can save enough money to afford one.

A Rare Sight: Venus and Moon Together

We finished our afternoon service by 7pm and DH decided to make our goodbyes as fast as possible to make it to Robinsons' Metro East. He planned to drop by National Bookstore to shop for the kids' school things. He thought that it would be harder to shop in the coming days because almost people are all shopping for school necessities so the most crammed store for this season are the bookstores.

We were able to secure a cab in just 5 minutes and as we travel along the road we saw some people in the gasoline station aiming some shots upwards in the sky. With plain curiosity in my heart to those people I looked at the sky laughing at the people's eccentricity and I saw a very rare sight for about 1-2 minutes. I saw a crescent moon with a star above it resembling a little bit of a smiley form. I regret the fact that I didn't have my digicam with me and anyway I don't think I can get a nice shot with it. Well the most important thing was we all saw the rare beautiful sight of the smiling moon and Venus (I learned from the news after that it was Venus).

We shopped and upon reaching our home we searched for any news about what we had recently seen in the sky. It was past 7pm then and I saw the news and this picture in gmanews.tv I was happy to see that rare sight in our TV news confirming our theories that it's indeed a rare sight.

Now with every rare sight or phenomenon we see I know that it's a sign for some good or bad things that will happen. Hope it's good.

Vacation Ideas for the Whole Family

Summer brings so much fun and excitement especially as the kids are on their school vacation. It’s just that the weather is so humid and temperature is so hot that I can’t enjoy my time outside my house. I only want to be outside in the early morning and late afternoon when the heat is bearable. DH wanted a vacation for the whole family because he has resigned from his job already and needs some rest to regain his health. He’ll be starting up a small business after the vacation and that will be an added source of income for us. We’re thinking of going to the North for a cooler temperature but I also want to go to a beach resort like resorts in Myrtle Beach to enjoy the nature more. It’s more relaxing to spend vacation by the beach because it offers a certain magic of serenity and peace.

Well we’re just having plans now because DH will only be available at the end of this month. His Mom and siblings were actually booked for a vacation in their provincial town near the beach but he can’t join them as the dates may conflict his schedule. I was just waiting for his decision as I can finish my tasks to be available on whatever date he wants. I was browsing through http://avistaresort.com and found some good deals offered by them. They offer vacation condo and plenty of amenities that can complete your dream vacation like hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, on-site restaurant, shops, golf courses and many more.

I was searching through their vacation packages and was now dreaming of staying in Myrtle Beach hotel to enjoy a real complete vacation away from the hustles and bustles of the city. It’s really a good place to have your family vacation because everyone in the family can enjoy the amenities and the sports. The boys can have their round of their favorite golf sports and the girls can stroll through restaurants and shops to enjoy their stay there. Well reservation can be done online so anytime you feel like going to this beautiful resort reservation is as easy as clicking their site and booking your stay.

Diabetic Neighbor

I’ve seen again how my neighbor suffers from his diabetes. He finds it hard to move sometimes owing to his big body and it seems like he can’t carry his big framed body with his feet. I wonder if he knows about diabetic socks which can give him comfort for his feet. I think he should shed a great number of his excess pounds in order to cope up better in his diabetic sickness. It’s really a hard condition for him every time he incurred wounds because it heals so slowly. Now he told me that he’s been moving very carefully so as not to aggravate his condition. He’s taking some herbal medicine now to balance his sugar level to normal condition.

And...here we go!

1. I just had a tiring but enjoyable walking around our municipal grounds yesterday while the kids are biking. I walked around 6 kms.
2. Glad for the convenience of my work-at-home job that is.
3. The third sentence on the 7th page of the book I'm reading: If you don't have a shower in your home, use a pail of water (I'm reading about the kinds of baths)
4. Surprise vacation tickles my fancy.
5. I was walking around while my kids were biking around.
6. My little boy's antics and stories makes me laugh!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to planning a nice meal and resting early, tomorrow my plans include shopping for birthday gifts and Sunday, I want to inquire about some textbooks!

Happy Friday everyone!

Giving Myself Time for Exercise and Sports

We had some fun in the afternoon when Gen and Josh asked for permission to go biking in the municipal grounds where there are vast areas for sports and recreation. I was writing some assignments then but I opt to accompany them so I left my tons of work and went with my two younger kids. It was late in the afternoon and sun was just beginning to mellow its heat. That’s nice for biking.

I walked and rounded the wide area while they bike to see if they’re following my instruction not to go beyond the boundaries. I almost had a workout in a fitness equipment by the number of kilometers I walked but it was worth my time as I felt really good inside. Maybe I should really give myself time to do exercise, walking and indulge in my favorite sports. Well I’m planning to do it more often to support my semi-cleansing diet. I learned that a good healthy diet and exercise is really good for the body so I’m starting with it today. I was just hoping that I could fit this activity in my very tight schedule.

Can't Afford to Be Sick

It rained a little today and I thought that’s the beginning of rainy days. With a little disappointment I‘ve watched how the sun returned with scorching heat again. Oh well it’s just halfway through the month of May and I’m not dreaming of heavy rains anyway. I’m just hoping for some drizzles to cool the night. On my way to fetch my daughter on her summer class I saw some people in the gym doing their morning workouts and I wonder if they have dip station because it would be better if they have as my friend told me yesterday.

Anyway I’m 5 minutes late and I found Ruth with her summer classmate waiting for me outside the building. Whenever I fetch Ruth we dropped by the market or grocery to buy our foodies for the day. I never go out of the house after that to save myself from the bad effects of sun’s heat. Many people suffer from heat wave and some sickness caused by over exposure to sun and I don’t want to be one of them as I can’t afford to be sick now. I must be healthy and fit for the coming school year. My kids need me to attend to all their school activities.

A Sure Kind of Investment

Investment is one of the most common things to secure your current money. It’s like saving money in the bank for your future. If you have investment you’ll have fall back when you lost your job or when you’re in dire need of money. Investment can give you financial success in the future if you’re smart and wise on the kind of business or field you’ll invest your money on. Investment can be on realty, jewelries, small or big businesses, stocks or precious metals. You must have a good knowledge of the kind of investment before you plunge on it. When it comes to precious metals where value is always increasing you must know where you can search for silver, platinum or gold price so you’ll know the current values and how much you can invest. Further studies should be done to weigh things up before the final investment of your money.

I was browsing online for some investment ideas and came upon goldcoinsgain.com where you can search for the current price of gold, silver, platinum and palladium. You can have choices if you want certified gold coins or gold bullion coins and they have varied kinds of coins for you to choose from and it’s all available in their site. I find it very informative and useful especially for someone like me who’s not very familiar with the prices.

I learned that the spot gold price are determined and fixed by 5 banks in London and they do twice a day by telephone only. So you’ll have updated rates twice daily. I know gold prices are more likely to gain value because precious metals have proven to have higher return of investment than any other kind of investment. It’s a reliable investment since the old generation where early generation used to collect gold jewelries and bars of gold as their investment instead of money. So if you want a sure investment for your hard-earned money you can try visiting their site and see for yourself.

;BM/MYM/RT: Jollibee Birthday Cake

MellowYellowMondayBadge

This is my nephew's cake when he celebrated his 7th birthday last May 6 in Jollibee, the most favorite fast food restaurants of majority of kids here in the Philippines. Celebrating your kid's birthday here will give him/her such a memorable one because it will be with a Jollibee mascot. True to this words all the guests enjoyed the games and food on that birthday and Matmat was so excited and happy. I was talking with my siblings and they suggested that I'd do the same with Josh' birthday on September when he turns 7 also. I asked Josh and he agreed.

I've picked this blue cake for the 3 memes because obviously the cake is such a nice blue rectangular cake with red colored Jollibee mascot and decorated with different colors of other Jollibee mascots. It's also decorated with yellow sun and stars, yellow dedication letters, red and yellow & red Jollitown title. Oh kids' birthdays are such a nice one to celebrate.

Looking for Variations

I’m searching for a variation idea of my semi-cleansing diet. I’m actually looking for some fruit juice concoction that I can drink while I’m working. I’m talking of real fruit juice because lately I was really for the natural way of losing some weight. While browsing I chanced upon many tips about slimming down like using apidexin and other pills. I’m glad that I don’t need to choose among them as my healthy meal plans are working for me quite perfectly. I still need some more months to see big results but I’m happy now that I feel lighter and healthier.

She Has Sensitive Skin

DD has developed a certain allergy on her feet whenever she eats something that doesn’t seem to blend with her body and affects her skin on her feet. She’s very sensitive on that part of her body and I’m very particular with the shoes or slippers that she wears because sometimes it also adds up to her allergy. Now she’s fine and I’m telling her to take care of it everyday before the school begins again.

I’m just thankful that it’s only a slight allergy and not eczema because it will be itchy and painful for her if she has it. I’m glad that I don’t have to check for the right eczema treatment because I know there are different kinds and it would be determined by skin doctor. A relative developed that kind of allergy and I’ve seen how my relative endured the pain. Of course I don’t want that to happen to my DD.

Saturday 9: Hey Jealousy

1. When was the last time that you got jealous? I don't usually get jealous so I can't remember the time and when I get jealous it's not over a certain person but of the time spent on us.

2. At what point do you finally decide it's time to move forward with your life (like, major changes)? How do you know? What do you do? It's way back May 2008 when I decided to leave my 15-year old regular job to concentrate on my family and embrace the world of work-at-home Moms. I've been earning enough from online works for two years then so I'm confident enough to assume that I can earn more than staying in my office job. My boss didn't want me to leave but after more than one year he succumbed and gave me separation pay.

3. When is it time to just let it ('it' can be whatever you choose) go? How do you know? What do you do? When things aren't going your way and seems like things are falling apart to pieces then it's time to let go. When it comes to job- when I'm not happy and contented anymore and when you're not growing intellectually it's time to let go. It's time to find some other job that will make you feel important and needed.

4. How many times must someone push your buttons before you've just had enough? Why? I think I have enough patience to last me a couple times before I've just had enough. I've worked as a Human Resource and Administrative officer and you need a lot of patience and understanding when you handle that kind of jobs.

5. If I S/O were to cheat on you, could you ever see yourself giving them a second chance? Or a third? Maybe but I'll cross the bridge when I get there lol!

6. What was the last thing that someone did that you were very grateful for? I'm always grateful for even the smallest things done for me, well the last thing so far was when hubby did some marketing for me yesterday. So sweet of him.

7. How much time do you spend online in a given weekday? What about the weekends? My work is online so I think I'm online around 14 hours a day when I don't have errands to do. Wednesday and Sunday were exemptions. I'm offline during Wednesday late afternoon onwards and Sunday whole day and night because I devote those times and days to our midweek bible study and Sunday worship.

8. How many online journals/blogs do you read regularly? What are some of your favorites and why? I read around 10-20 blogs everyday but I visit more than 200 sites everyday. My favorites are my friends' blog because I want to be updated with what's happening to them. Some other favorites are inspirational, photography and Moms' blogs.

9. What was the last major purchase that you made? I'm not an impulse shopper and I don't buy expensive items, my last major purchase was cabinets and gadgets.

She Loves Gardening

I’m glad that it rained last week which gave our plants all around the compound some added nourishment aside from our daily watering. I love nursing flowers and plants but I just don’t have enough time to devote much of myself to our garden. I’m happy that my Mom takes care of all our plants and she has a green thumb on gardening so she’s really the person who can manage them perfectly. Whatever she plants in her planter it grows and that’s for the record.

Anyway whenever I have spare time I help my Mom in arranging our small front garden. She asks my help when she transfers the flowers in the window box planters because I wouldn’t want her to carry things especially if it’s heavy. It’s just her hobby and we don’t want her to be tired in caring for her plants. But I can say that she really loves dealing with them and she even talk to them while watering them. It’s her morning and afternoon habit and she feels happy doing it.

Now I’m thinking of buying her some more flower plants and browsing online for some beautiful decorative planters to go with the plants. Since I have no time to look and search I’ve browsed some sites and found a marketplace for beautiful planters for residential and commercial uses. They have wide selection to choose from including indoor and outdoor planters, garden planters, high end planters and decorative planters to help people beautify the interior and exterior of their homes. Searching, choosing and buying are easy as you can do it online in the comforts of your own home. This is just perfect as one of my gifts for my Mom’s birthday this month.
