New School Bag for Josh

Just when it’s only 2 months before the classes ends Josh’ school bags retired. We had no choice but to buy him a new one but this time not as expensive as his former bag which stood him up and carried his things for two years. Good service for a school bag but not a good timing I should say. Anyway after buying the new bag I searched and looked for nice jansport school backpacks online and found that they’re having discount sales. 

Josh likes their bags because of style and durability and told me that I can always buy him another one for backup or for our out-town travel where he would need plenty of things to carry. Even though we have plenty of backpacks already I love buying another because it can also be used for our camp meeting travels or vacation in faraway places.

Taking Care of His Toys

I’ve been surfing yesterday night looking for prices of digital cameras when my little boy asked me if I could search for his favorite yoyo. Since he saw a competition of yoyo in one of the shows that he’s watching he’s been searching for the same toy that the contestant was using in the show. He has some regular toys of that kind but he’s pining for the one with solid spin axle system that will give him a nice exhibition play. He also wants to see the one with 2 different bearings as he heard it from his classmates. 

Boys really love toys and this little boy of mine is starting to show fondness for collecting good and quality toys. He’s also making an effort to arrange and keep all his toys to my designated drawers because he learned from me that doing so will make his toys last longer. Since he wants to keep his fave toys for a long time he’s following my advice. Hope he’ll stay the same when he grows up.

iPhone 5 Rumors

The release of the iPhone 4S was a huge success that its sales are sweeping its competitors by storm. Apple sold 4 million units in just three days after it was launch making it the fastest selling gadget available in the market today.

And so for 2012, gadget lovers and Apple fanatics are all waiting for the release of the next generation of iPhone, the iPhone 5. 4. iPhone 5 is also said to be capable of 4G LTE technology, which makes video, and voice calls at lighting speed.

5. The shape of the iPhone 5 will also be longer and wider (but thinner) to accommodate the larger screen. The material that will be use for the casing is aluminum unibody as oppose to the glass that was use for iPhone 4S.

6. The new iPhone 5 will come with the new waterproof technology using Liquipel waterproof coating. The Liquipel waterproof coating will be pre-applied to the phone and it is invisible to the naked eye. This coating will really make the device water proof at it will prevent water from getting in contact with the device and all the other hardware parts inside the unit.

So when will the new iPhone be release? According to a reliable source, the iPhone 5 is already close to going into production so it is predicted to be announce in Apple’s annual developer’s conference in June and will be release in the market come July or August.

Piano Restored to Original Beauty

Glad to see that our post war grand piano was beautifully repaired by my brother. Three of his kids enrolled in a music school to study piano lessons and since they will need piano for their practice my brother decided to repair our old piano not only for his kids’ usage but for sentimental purpose as well. Dad bought it after the war in the late 40’s because he wanted to sing alongside the piano. 

Though he paid a sizeable amount of money for the restoration it’s all worth it when you actually see it now. Anyway brother needs some piano hinges to support heavy loads when needed and I offered to look and canvas for him.  Got so curious about my friend's business that I actually looked for it online :).  My friend started the personalized gift business last year.  Her business includes customized shirts, mugs, bags and company giveaways.  I really like personalized mugs since a friend gave me a gift of one family set with our names printed on beautiful mugs.  I love her gift that I keep it until now.  It can be used in drinking coffee, choco or milk and can be a good kitchen decor as well.
