This is Quintum equipment (white one) which I'm very familiar with because it's one of the many equipment used in my previous work in telecommunications company. This is used for VoIP (Voice over Internet Phone) switching solutions. This is commonly used by start-up VoIP service providers like my former company.
P.S. Atop the quintum is a router which we are very familiar with because we used it so we can use the internet simultaneously with other users. Another good technology.

Good choices for the theme.
I had to wait over a month for our router to arrive when we first moved to Australia--it about drove me crazy. Technology really makes life easier.
That definitely looks like technology to me... :-)
