Giving Myself Time for Exercise and Sports

We had some fun in the afternoon when Gen and Josh asked for permission to go biking in the municipal grounds where there are vast areas for sports and recreation. I was writing some assignments then but I opt to accompany them so I left my tons of work and went with my two younger kids. It was late in the afternoon and sun was just beginning to mellow its heat. That’s nice for biking.

I walked and rounded the wide area while they bike to see if they’re following my instruction not to go beyond the boundaries. I almost had a workout in a fitness equipment by the number of kilometers I walked but it was worth my time as I felt really good inside. Maybe I should really give myself time to do exercise, walking and indulge in my favorite sports. Well I’m planning to do it more often to support my semi-cleansing diet. I learned that a good healthy diet and exercise is really good for the body so I’m starting with it today. I was just hoping that I could fit this activity in my very tight schedule.

Can't Afford to Be Sick

It rained a little today and I thought that’s the beginning of rainy days. With a little disappointment I‘ve watched how the sun returned with scorching heat again. Oh well it’s just halfway through the month of May and I’m not dreaming of heavy rains anyway. I’m just hoping for some drizzles to cool the night. On my way to fetch my daughter on her summer class I saw some people in the gym doing their morning workouts and I wonder if they have dip station because it would be better if they have as my friend told me yesterday.

Anyway I’m 5 minutes late and I found Ruth with her summer classmate waiting for me outside the building. Whenever I fetch Ruth we dropped by the market or grocery to buy our foodies for the day. I never go out of the house after that to save myself from the bad effects of sun’s heat. Many people suffer from heat wave and some sickness caused by over exposure to sun and I don’t want to be one of them as I can’t afford to be sick now. I must be healthy and fit for the coming school year. My kids need me to attend to all their school activities.

A Sure Kind of Investment

Investment is one of the most common things to secure your current money. It’s like saving money in the bank for your future. If you have investment you’ll have fall back when you lost your job or when you’re in dire need of money. Investment can give you financial success in the future if you’re smart and wise on the kind of business or field you’ll invest your money on. Investment can be on realty, jewelries, small or big businesses, stocks or precious metals. You must have a good knowledge of the kind of investment before you plunge on it. When it comes to precious metals where value is always increasing you must know where you can search for silver, platinum or gold price so you’ll know the current values and how much you can invest. Further studies should be done to weigh things up before the final investment of your money.

I was browsing online for some investment ideas and came upon goldcoinsgain.com where you can search for the current price of gold, silver, platinum and palladium. You can have choices if you want certified gold coins or gold bullion coins and they have varied kinds of coins for you to choose from and it’s all available in their site. I find it very informative and useful especially for someone like me who’s not very familiar with the prices.

I learned that the spot gold price are determined and fixed by 5 banks in London and they do twice a day by telephone only. So you’ll have updated rates twice daily. I know gold prices are more likely to gain value because precious metals have proven to have higher return of investment than any other kind of investment. It’s a reliable investment since the old generation where early generation used to collect gold jewelries and bars of gold as their investment instead of money. So if you want a sure investment for your hard-earned money you can try visiting their site and see for yourself.

;BM/MYM/RT: Jollibee Birthday Cake

MellowYellowMondayBadge

This is my nephew's cake when he celebrated his 7th birthday last May 6 in Jollibee, the most favorite fast food restaurants of majority of kids here in the Philippines. Celebrating your kid's birthday here will give him/her such a memorable one because it will be with a Jollibee mascot. True to this words all the guests enjoyed the games and food on that birthday and Matmat was so excited and happy. I was talking with my siblings and they suggested that I'd do the same with Josh' birthday on September when he turns 7 also. I asked Josh and he agreed.

I've picked this blue cake for the 3 memes because obviously the cake is such a nice blue rectangular cake with red colored Jollibee mascot and decorated with different colors of other Jollibee mascots. It's also decorated with yellow sun and stars, yellow dedication letters, red and yellow & red Jollitown title. Oh kids' birthdays are such a nice one to celebrate.

For blue & mellow yellow monday and red tuesday pics pls click on the badge at the top!

Looking for Variations

I’m searching for a variation idea of my semi-cleansing diet. I’m actually looking for some fruit juice concoction that I can drink while I’m working. I’m talking of real fruit juice because lately I was really for the natural way of losing some weight. While browsing I chanced upon many tips about slimming down like using apidexin and other pills. I’m glad that I don’t need to choose among them as my healthy meal plans are working for me quite perfectly. I still need some more months to see big results but I’m happy now that I feel lighter and healthier.

She Has Sensitive Skin

DD has developed a certain allergy on her feet whenever she eats something that doesn’t seem to blend with her body and affects her skin on her feet. She’s very sensitive on that part of her body and I’m very particular with the shoes or slippers that she wears because sometimes it also adds up to her allergy. Now she’s fine and I’m telling her to take care of it everyday before the school begins again.

I’m just thankful that it’s only a slight allergy and not eczema because it will be itchy and painful for her if she has it. I’m glad that I don’t have to check for the right eczema treatment because I know there are different kinds and it would be determined by skin doctor. A relative developed that kind of allergy and I’ve seen how my relative endured the pain. Of course I don’t want that to happen to my DD.

Saturday 9: Hey Jealousy

1. When was the last time that you got jealous? I don't usually get jealous so I can't remember the time and when I get jealous it's not over a certain person but of the time spent on us.

2. At what point do you finally decide it's time to move forward with your life (like, major changes)? How do you know? What do you do? It's way back May 2008 when I decided to leave my 15-year old regular job to concentrate on my family and embrace the world of work-at-home Moms. I've been earning enough from online works for two years then so I'm confident enough to assume that I can earn more than staying in my office job. My boss didn't want me to leave but after more than one year he succumbed and gave me separation pay.

3. When is it time to just let it ('it' can be whatever you choose) go? How do you know? What do you do? When things aren't going your way and seems like things are falling apart to pieces then it's time to let go. When it comes to job- when I'm not happy and contented anymore and when you're not growing intellectually it's time to let go. It's time to find some other job that will make you feel important and needed.

4. How many times must someone push your buttons before you've just had enough? Why? I think I have enough patience to last me a couple times before I've just had enough. I've worked as a Human Resource and Administrative officer and you need a lot of patience and understanding when you handle that kind of jobs.

5. If I S/O were to cheat on you, could you ever see yourself giving them a second chance? Or a third? Maybe but I'll cross the bridge when I get there lol!

6. What was the last thing that someone did that you were very grateful for? I'm always grateful for even the smallest things done for me, well the last thing so far was when hubby did some marketing for me yesterday. So sweet of him.

7. How much time do you spend online in a given weekday? What about the weekends? My work is online so I think I'm online around 14 hours a day when I don't have errands to do. Wednesday and Sunday were exemptions. I'm offline during Wednesday late afternoon onwards and Sunday whole day and night because I devote those times and days to our midweek bible study and Sunday worship.

8. How many online journals/blogs do you read regularly? What are some of your favorites and why? I read around 10-20 blogs everyday but I visit more than 200 sites everyday. My favorites are my friends' blog because I want to be updated with what's happening to them. Some other favorites are inspirational, photography and Moms' blogs.

9. What was the last major purchase that you made? I'm not an impulse shopper and I don't buy expensive items, my last major purchase was cabinets and gadgets.
